With the end of the winter period in sight, brands have been preparing for the spring/summer season with the release of SPF products. Shiseido and Supergoop have launched sunscreens and Sun Patch has debuted their new Sun Kiss collection. A plethora of new brands debuted this week including dermatologically led Motif, haircare line Txtur, and Dollar General's exclusive home fragrance brand Kõze Place. Fun-fueled collaborations have also been popular with the release of Dr. Squatch x Jurassic Park’s dino-inspired soap bars and Orly x NASA’s nail lacquers and nail stickers.RETAILUlta Beauty is expanding its assortment of luxury brands from Chanel, Hourglass, Dior, Natasha Denona, Yves Saint Laurent Beauty, Tom Ford, Viktor & Rolf, Gucci, Tiffany, and Givenchy online and in 200 doors merchandised at the front of the store. Some of the brands already sell fragrance at Ulta but are expanding their offerings with makeup and skincare.Function of Beauty, the brand that has made its mark with customizable hair, skin, and body care products, is expanding its UK presence and bringing personalization to the high street. The brand is launching online, and in over 380 Boots stores across the UK and Ireland with a product assortment that will include four shampoo and conditioner bases, curated by hair type— straight, wavy, curly, and coily—along with 10 Hair Goal boosters to personalize formulas based on specific hair needs. The 18 products create more than 3,000 possible combinations. The Canadian indie brand Bushbalm, focused on bikini-line skincare, lands on Ulta.
